He's the only one that isn't rattling his antlers he's just flashing you a menacing grin.

- Along A River - The vast river flows from east to west through the valley. It's water becoming a murky grey color from the glacial silt that is mixing in from the three different rivers that converge here. Suddenly. a fish shoots out of the water and seems to almost pose momentarily before splashing back into the murky depths.
- Along A River - The river meanders westward, twisting and turning along the bottom of the valley. A little farther west it empties into what appears to be the ocean. Seagulls fly overhead, searching for spawned out fish along the bank of the river.
- Along The Ice Field - It seems as though you have been walking for days, when you finally come upon the edge of the glacial field. Stunted trees can be seen ahead, along with the promise of warmer temperatures. The surrounding ice doesn't seem as menacing as it did a little while ago. Relief washes over you as you see your way off of this glacier.
- Atop The Glacier - From this vantage point, ice can be seen in all directions. Suddenly, you spin around and all you see is ice. You can't remember the direction that you came from. The implication that you might be stuck here forever begins to dawn on you, and a certain terror overcomes you.
- Boarding The Cruise Ship - The Crew bustles about the ship getting ready for the upcoming cruise. People are milling around, saying goodbye to relatives and friends. The captain notices your look of concern and approaches you, assuring you that the waters are calm and the views will be spectacular. He points to a sign that reveals more important information about this cruise.
- Climbing The Glacier - The journey over the glacier looks to be a very dangerous, harrowing experience. Aqua blue ice surrounds you in most directions making your progress very slow. One misstep could send you tumbling into a very deep crevasse. A cracking noise from somewhere makes you remember that the ice is always moving. Do you continue? or head back down to the base.
- Dr. Fleishman's Office - The aroma of fresh brewed coffee greets you as you enter the reception area of Dr. Fleishman's clinic. A set of uncomfortable looking chairs is off to the side of the receptionist's desk. A stout woman sits behind the desk and looks up as you walk in.
- On Deck - The chilly air awakens your senses as you take a deep breath. Moist, clean, fresh air fills your lungs. The ship departs from the harbor and lazily makes its way through a scenic passage towards your destination. Birds you have never seen before fly above your ship and dive into the pristine waters. Signs that warn you of the dangers of the freezing cold water are posted all over the rails. The ship sails northward.
- The Base Of A Glacier - You stand at the base of a glacier. Looking up, an endless ice field awaits with unknown dangers. The air is very cold here, you see your breath come out as a white billowing cloud as you exhale. Do you brave the subzero temperatures and try to cross the glacial field to get to the other side of the mountain, or do you head back to the docks and catch a bus to get there.
- The Campground Entrance - The entrance to the campground is very inviting. The sounds of small creatures make this area seem almost cheeful. Light filters through trees onto the paths which lead to the individual campsites. The aroma of food being cooked over a fire makes your stomach growl as you realise that you haven't taken the time to rest in awhile. Perhaps now would be good time to find a campsite and relax.
- The Cruise - Your cruise continues through the beautiful waterway. Looking over the edge of the ship you see schools of fish swimming just below the surface. Looking deeper into the depths, you see an amazing array of sealife. To the northwest, small marine animals frolic playfully in the water. Signs line the railings, warning of the dangers of the freezing cold water. The ship sails northward.
- The Cruise - You continue your journey on the waters of the sound, tempted to dive in and check out the undersea world, but knowing the ship would not wait if you did. Below, many different species of fish and other creatures go about their way, not even noticing you. To the north a glacier meets the water as the cruise continues.
- The Cruise - The ship begins veering toward the east, giving you a better view of the vast glacier. The icy fingers of the fjords reach down to touch the water. A bird cries far above you, echoing in the distance. As the sound waves bounce, an eerie crackling can be heard. An enormous piece of ice suddenly calves from the glacier and crashes into the water. Perhaps it is fortunate that the ship is moving eastward.
- The Cruise - The cruise heads towards land. Seagulls circle above you, ever questing for food. The captain's voice can be heard via a loud speaker informing all passengers that the ship will be docking shortly. Small islands and inlets can be seen as you look out towards the horizon. You may enter the ship to the south, or head back to the path to the north.
- The End Of The Trail - The sounds of the animals are almost overwhelming. You are deep in the wilderness, surrounded by impassable forest land. The constant noise of the forest looms as if a haunting presense surrounds you. Perhaps it would be best if you returned to the company of the townsfolk and tourists back in Cicely.
- The Ice Field - Your eyes become very tired from looking at nothing but the aqua colored ice. The glare from the light reflecting off of it is causing you a great headache. Extreme cold chills you to the bone, making your body shudder involuntarily. The muscles in your body begin to grow weary from all of the ice climbing that you are not used to. North or south are the only directions that you can go at this point.
- The Ice Field - Your eyes become very tired from looking at nothing but the aqua colored ice. The glare from the light reflecting off of it is causing you a great headache. Looking closely, you see the formation of a crevasse that doesn't appear to be very stable. Perhaps this isn't the direction to explore.

- The Mountain Pass - You reach the mountain pass. A slight breeze makes the temperature very pleasant here. Stunted trees grow sparsely in this area, getting thicker as they get farther down the sloping mountain. Above you, the sky is filled with activity as birds circle and dive.
- The Mouth Of The River - The river opens up wide at its mouth. Tourists are lined up along the banks shoulder to shoulder. This is what Alaskans call "Combat Fishing". No one has room to move. Lures fly through the air above you as they try to cast lines into the river. It's almost pandemonium. Taking a closer look, you notice that there doesn't seem to be any locals fishing here.
- The Spawning Grounds - You travel up the river to the salmon spawning grounds. A natural ladder in the river allows the fish to jump up to the calm waters up above. A large grizzly bear emerges from the brush around the lake and jumps into the water, ready to stuff himself on the abundant silver salmon run.
- The Summit - As you stand atop the summit, you take in the spectacular view. Light shimmers across ripples on the water in the wake of an out-going cruise ship. In one direction, the Sound heads out towards the ocean, in another an awe inspiring range of mountains extends as far as the eye can see. A road winds along the coast and continues up through the pass that connects this remote area with a more populated part of the state.
- The Trail Continues - The terrain begins to change as you find yourself upon the foothills of a mountain range. Looking around the expanse of the view, various types of wildlife comes into view in many directions. You begin to recognise the small blue flowers growing abundantly around the area, they have been growing just about everywhere you have been. Do you continue to explore, or take the trail south back to the campground.
- The Valley - The mountain pass opens up to a wide valley with 3 rivers flowing into it. Rolling hills and patches of trees dot the countryside. As the sun sets behind the mountains off in the distance, you notice that peaks surround the valley in every direction. Taking a closer look, you realise that the rivers that first caught your attention actually come from separate glaciers deep in the mountains.
- Through The Foliage - A ring of dense foliage opens here, hiding a path through the forest. Small creatures scurry about the wilderness, never even bothering to notice you. Tall trees provide shelter for many different animals. A path back to civilization is west, while the path to the south leads towards a vast body of water. A large mountain rises off to the northeast.
- Up The Trail - The trail is very steep here. The cries of an eagle can be heard above, sending chills down your spine. The terrain begins to change to large rocks and slides, leaving the treeline below. A stunted pine tree grows here looking as if it has to struggle to survive this rugged slope. The trail continues up and down.
- Where Trails Meet - Small paths converge here, leading off in many directions. Large trees surround the trails, keeping you from venturing into the deep woods. Birds chirp in the background as they fly about the forest. You hear the sounds of frogs coming from a nearby creek. A very small trail leads east, perhaps it is an animal trail of some sort, being that it is a little TOO small to be man made. The main path leads north, towards what looks to be the entrance of a camp ground. Mountains loom beyond the trail to the west. To the south you see a private dock.
- east and see, - You peek east and see, A Wolves Den Entering the wolves den might have been a mistake. A fairly small pack of wolves live here, and they don't look too happy that you entered their domain. The walls of the den have many scratches on them, some made by the claws of a wolf, others of unknown origin. This small cave definately gives wolves an advantage in a fight.
