- A Bend in the Ledge - The path here turns sharply east following along the inner-face of the northern slope of Urmsheim. The howling of the Norn Hounds has become closer and now you can make out the animalistic grunting of giants.
- A Bend in the Trail - The trail curves around the mountain here to the west. You can faintly make out several brown shapes hunched in the snow in that direction. The animal like howling must be coming from somewhere near there. The sheer walls of the cliff and the ice that is frozen on it make climbing impossible. Best just continue on the path.
- A Branch in the Path - Several large boulders covered with ice outline the path for you here. To the east you can see the faint outlines of houses buried beneath the snow. Ghostly howls echo from that direction, while to the north the path continues around the small hill.
- A Curve in the Ledge - The ledge curves around to the north, ever sloping more steeply upward as you climb. On the far inner-wall of Urmsheim you can just make out where it turns back to the east before it disappears behind the strange tree of ice. Above you hear a tremendous crash and a gutteral roar, before it's choked off and all is silent.
- A Serene Overlook - Flowers seem to be in full bloom in this region, accompanied by a tranquil breeze and a gentle, trickling stream nearby. Clouds drift by lazily in the sky, and the sun peeks through on occasion warming your skin. There is a gigantic blue dragon in the middle of this peaceful setting, resting under the shade of the trees. There is a vibrant blue aura eminating from him, and you begin to wonder if this is all an illusion.
- A Sharp Turn - You stand around the bend of a sharp turn westward in the path. The sounds of water are growing steadily louder, still coming from a short distance to the north. It's difficult to make out anything else over the drone of the water.
- A Small Closet - It's a small empty closet. The shadows play tricks with your eyes.
- A Steep Incline - The path angles sharply upward here making your already poor footing trecherous. You think if you proceed carfully you could make it up to the next level of the ledge, but you wonder if it's worth chancing. The ground beneath your feet rumbles and shakes angrily, wonder what could cause such an occurance.
- An Icy Ledge on Urmsheim - Just ahead you can make out another bend in the path, which takes you back to the east. The ledge is continually sloping upward bringing you closer to what you now see as an enormous ledge on the inside of the mountain.
- An Icy Mountain Path - The footing here is extremely trecherous. A mile or so ahead you can see the black outline of Stormspike itself.. You wonder if you will ever make it that far. The path curves up around a small hill and then disappears from your sight. Many humanlike howls echo through the valley.. you wonder what could make a sound so loud.
- Another Bend in the Path - You stand before another bend in the path. From the sounds of the water it must be the last before you reach the source of the noise. It would be wise to proceed with caution, as you can not be sure what lies ahead.
- Around the Icy Hill - You are taveling around the hill coming closer to the strange brown shapes hunched in the dirt. Far off to the north-west you can see vast plains of snow and ice, and behind them a large mountain. Directly north you spot another mountain, but this one is unique in that it is nearly black. Suddenly you realize you were not alone here, a Norn Hound rushes you from behind and attacks!
- Around the Ledge - You stand on a ledge of ice along the mountain's inner side. It slopes gently upward, and the footing is sure. You can make out ahead of you where the path curves around to the north, while behind you can see the dark outline on the crack where you entered. The howls of the Norn Hounds echo throughout the interior of the mountain, they must be searching here as well.
- At the Body - Well now you know where some of the screams came from.. A norn lies here.. or what used to be a norn, dead. It's body has been ripped to shreds, the flesh burned... not with fire but with some acid like substance. It's eyes are no longer gold, just a pale white... it's face twisted in a mask of pain. You wonder what could have done this to it.
- At the Mouth of the Cave - You stand before the mouth of what appears to be an enormous cave carved into Urmsheim's inner face. The mountain itself is still rumbling beneath your feet, and strange echos reverberate throughout the opening of the cavern.
- Before Stormspike - You stand before the vast blackness that is the mountain of Stormspike. You can see no visible entrance... but you hear a slighty crunching of snow behind you. As you turn around you see it's actually a small troll... He speaks to you in the common tongue and offers you a bargain...
- Before Stormspike - Binabik advances to the face of the mountain, and gestures faster then You can clearly see. Binabik says, 'Thank you Tayn friend, the way is now unbarred, go, and be wary.' Before Stormspike You stand before the vast blackness that is the mountain of Stormspike. You can see no visible entrance... but you hear a slighty crunching of snow behind you. As you turn around you see it's actually a small troll... He speaks to you in the common tongue and offers you a bargain...
- Before Urmsheim - After a long hard journey you have finally reached the base of the great mountain of ice. From up close you can make out a crevace that allows you to see an odd structure in the center, it appears to be a giant tree, made of ice. The mountain itself is tinted pink, you know not why. To the north is a tiny passage that might be large enough for you to squeeze through.
- Before the Cliff Face - You stand on the ledge overlooking the inside of the mountain. To the south lies the great Uduntree, glittering spectral colors which dazzle your senses. To the north you can see the cliff face, with blood and gore splattered upon it like so much rubbish. The narrow walkway continues to the west, or back east.
- Before the Ledge of Ice - Before you, to the west is the ledge of ice you saw from below. On the north face you can make out splatters of blood and gore dripping down the mountains smooth face. You hear muffled screams echoing throughout the mountain, but can be sure they originate before you.
- Before the Upward Slope - Before the mountain path slopes upward more sharply then it has before. The climbing will be difficult but you should be able to make it to the top provided you are careful in where you step. The Norn Hounds are howling again now, much louder then before, you hear a few strangled screams coming from above.
- Before the Village - The village is only a few hundred feet off now, you can see the houses are almost completely buried in the snow, with only the very highest peeking out at you. The path seems to slope downward, it shows signs of light use. The howls have grown much louder here. You can see extremely large pawprints in the snow on either side of the path.
- Beneath a Dome - In The Mountains You are walking over rocks and stones through the mountains between the Ishtar and Dark rivers. It is funny how all the rocks look alike.
- Beneath the Huge Boulder - You stand in a very tiny space between the boulder and the cliff face. Stand would not exactly be the proper word, more like crouch. If you crane your neck around you can see the path continues west and the dark outlines of what look to be more rocks.
- Camaris' Chambers - You stand in the room behind Igjarjuk's massive ice dome. It is peaceful here, almost beautiful. Bathed in a soft blue light, the ice twinkles and soothes you. As you enter Camaris rises to meet you. He has been living here ever since his disappearence from King John's court, in peace with Igjarjuk.
- Closer to the End - The footing is even worse here, ice cracks and slides beneath your boots. Small rocks slip and fall down off the side of the cliff. Even though you are not 20 yards from the end of the path the cliff is surprisingly steep here. The path continues to the east.
- Deep in the Cavern - As you make your way deeper and deeper into the enormous cavern you see that just ahead of you it opens up even wider into what appears to be a huge closed off dome. A few muffled groans and cries echo, but for the most part all is ominously quiet.
- Eastern Wing of the Kennels - Tayn presses his Coat of Arms and hops through a vortex A Kennel Beneath Stormspike You stand in another of Stormspike's horrific kennels. Back to the north you can see the hallway from which you came. The room has an ominous feel about it, as though there were piercing deadly eyes staring at your back. The blood and bits of bone and sinew of a recent kill is fresh on the floor.
- In a Dark Tunnel at the Base of Stormspike - You stand just inside the tiny opening the Troll Binabik led you through. All around you hear the wind whisper an odd moan through the cavernous underbelly of the mountain. The path continues north, although your light only illuminates a few feet before the darkness devours it and closes in.
- Inside the Cavern - You're just inside the cavern now. Your light flickers and dances off walls made of solid ice, reflecting every color of the spectrum, sending your mind whirling. Until you notice on the east wall something very unnatural, something that does not belong, you see a trail of blood leading out from the depths. Whatever left it is no more, strange because there doesn't seem to be any sign that it left the cave.
- Inside the Village Gates - You stand just inside the village gates. To the north and south small burned out guard towers loom above you, covered in snow. The doors are completely buried under the frost. The path continues, and to the east you can see some large white shapes rooting around in the rubble of some of the colapsed houses, looking for something, or perhaps someone.
- Near Center Square - You can see the large white shapes just ahead now, in the center square of town. Occasionally they will glance up and sniff the wind, fortunately you happen to be downwind, unfortunately that means you can smell them. They are the smell of death, of hatrid, of pure evil personified. To the north and south are more houses, completely buried under the snow. No way you could get in if you wanted to.
- Near a Large Cavern - You stand behind the great Uduntree once again, there is a small connecting bridge of ice to the south of you while to the east is the entrance to an enormous cavern carved into the ice. The ground beneath your feet rumbles and shudders violently for a moment then all is quiet.
- Near the Bend in the Path - Just ahead now you can see where the path curves around the small hill covered in ice. You hear animal like houls from that direction but they're somehow different then those coming from the town. Proceed with caution this would make an ideal place for an ambush.
- Near the End of the Path - From here you can see the end of the path, which winds it's way back around the cliff to the east. When you reach the bottom the endless plains of snow and ice await you. Those strange boulders are here as well although not directly in your path... then one moves.. and another.. they stand and you realize they were giants searching through the snow.
- Near the Peak - Just above you can make out the inner peak of the mountain top. Sunlight shines down through the ice tining everything in a glorious pink light. The path continues a few hundred feet to the east... and from here you can just make out a large hole in the mountain's side.
- On a Ledge Above the Plains - You stand on a vast ledge overlooking the plains of snow, before the two great mountains. The path winds down around the cliff into the plains themselves. All seems clear but your vision is blocked about 20 yards down by a large boulder you must somehow navigate around.
- On the Bridge of Ice - You are standing on the trecherously slim bridge of pinkish ice connecting the Uduntree in the center of the mountain with the inside walls of the mountain. On both sides you can see only darkness as the mountain's hollow plunges deep into the earth itself, to fall would not be wise.
- On the Icy Cliff Face - As you emerge from concealment under the huge boulder you are attacked by 2 Norn Hounds which were hiding under the snow. You can see that the passage continues below you, that is also where you spotted those odd brownish colored boulders in the snow.
- On the Northern Side of the Mountain - Now that you stand so closely behind the Tree of Ice you realize it's not a tree at all, rather it's the fabled frozen waterfall called Uduntree. all around you the snarls and cries of Norn Hounds and giants alike end it piercing screams or choked gurglings. Something else is here as well, something that is killing Norns and giants alike.
- On the Other Side of the Hill - The brown shapes seemed to have moved now, they are just a few yards off to the south. The two great mountains you have seen appear to be no closer, you must cross the fields of snow and ice to reach them. To the south you see where the shapes were heading, a small village buried in the snow. They must be another searching party.
- On the Path to the Plains - The path circles around the cliff in a westernly direction here, and you see that you must pass the boulder to continue. You see what looks like a very slim opening between the boulder and the cliff face that you might be able to squeeze through. From here you can see the great plains of snow but you cannot make out any more of the path itself.
- On the Plains of Ice - Snow and ice surrounds you, from here you wonder if you'll ever reach one of the mountains. The wind howls and chills your very soul. To the north- east you can make out mountain of ice while to the north-west you can see the black mountain of Stormspike.

- On the Trail - You're circling around the inner walls of the Urmsheim, lair of the legendary Dragon Igjurjak, and the Uduntree. And perhaps, on second consideration, something more. Why else would the Norn's be here out of their own Mountainous home, unless they were searching for something, or perhaps, someone.
- Sloping Downward - Tayn presses his Coat of Arms and hops through a vortex The Passageway Widens The Passageway you were traversing widens considerably here, although in the darkness it's difficult to tell. You appear to be heading toward a large dome shaped room. The sound of wood striking wood reverberates in your ears, and the wind whips your cloak around your body as it sweeps a chill through your bones.
- The Bottom of the Stairs - You stand at the bottom of the rickety old staircase looking up. Imprinted in the dust on the stairs are man sized bootprints, not giant. But something peculiar does catch your eye, in front of each footprint are two niches in the wood, as if something had dug in there. The aura of terror is even stronger here, you wonder if you should continue upstairs.
- The Caverns of Rending - You are standing the Caverns of Rending, a series of vast stone chambers connected by slightly smaller tunnels. The rock walls are made of a strange blue stone with veins and spiderwebs of a silver metallic substance that sparkles brightly in your light running up and down their length.

The rock walls are made of a strange blue stone with veins and spiderwebs of a silver metallic substance that sparkles brightly in your light running up and down their length.
- The Eastern Wing of the Kennels - Inside a Kennel You stand in one of the Kennels of Stormspike. This is where the Norn Hounds are trained and taught a lust for blood and death before being loosed on the world under Ingen Jegger's watchful eye. Blood and gore is strewn about the walls and floor haphazardly, the bones of past victims piled in a corner.
- The End of the Northern Road - This is where those large brown shapes were hunting, as you come upon them you realize that they must be giants. Towering over you you estimate them to be nearly 20 feet tall, perhaps more. They immediately take notice of you and howl their displeasure, evidentally they aren't very intelligent. None the less they attack you with a ferocity like none you've seen before, as if their very lives depended on it. To the east you see a farmhouse and the path continues back south.
- The End of the Path - You stand at the very bottom of the cliff facing out towards the great plains of snow. To the northeast you can make out that same large black mountain you spotted from above, while to the northwest you see the great mountain carved of ice. You can see it more clearly now, it is certainly odd. An entire mountain of ice. Best choose your path wisely.
- The Front of the Attic - Before a small attic window looking out, watching his hounds, stands a man in blue armor, he is large, commanding, terrifying. He does not even bother to face you as he speaks, 'I do not have the time to deal with you, so you may leave this place unmolested. Go now.' Then from beneath his wolf helm echos laughter, the laughter of the insane, of those who have died by his hand, it echos through the house shaking it to it's very foundation. You may exit to the south.
- The Large Attic - As you reach the top of your stairs a voice echos in your mind, like none you have heard before. Soft as the wind yet commanding as the ocean waves crashing against the shore. It is the sound of thousands of tortured souls speaking in unison, of one ghostly terror mocking your fears. It speaks to you, inside your head, it says; 'Foolish mortal child, you may prove to be entertaining yet, you have made it this far at no easy price and you journey has not even yet begun. Before you stands the one they call Jegger, the only one of your pitiful kind strong enough to serve her ancient will. He shall destroy you.' And as fast as it came it is gone. The attic continues north.
- The Library - This room houses a rather large library of books. All dust covered from lack of use. There are bookcases on every wall, each overfilled with such material as "Slaying For Pleasure". Your attention is drawn to one bookcase on the west wall in which is a large untouched book. An unpleasant musty smell fills your nose urging you to leave.
- The Main Road - To the north and south you see small farmhouses buried too the roof in the snow. Just about 50 feet east or so are the large white shapes, they appear to not have noticed you quite yet, wonder what they could be so intent on finding. You can continue to the east or to the north one of the houses looks sturdy enough to enter if you clear away the snow.
- The Northern Road - This is a very small side road off the main path. Must have been used for farmers moving to their crops and the like. In the snow at your feet you see more of those human footprints, and you realize those are much, MUCH to large to be human footprints. To the north you can see a few scattered houses and some large brown shapes tossing things about in the snow, apparently looking for something.
- The Passageway Widens - The Passageway you were traversing widens considerably here, although in the darkness it's difficult to tell. You appear to be heading toward a large dome shaped room. The sound of wood striking wood reverberates in your ears, and the wind whips your cloak around your body as it sweeps a chill through your bones.
- The Small Farmhouse - You enter the small farmhouse, immediately one of the Norn Hounds guarding the entrance takes notice of you and charges. To the north and south you see two moe Norn Hounds searching through the rubble of the sitting room and kitchen. To the east is a rickety wooden staircase, an aura wafts from there that chills your very soul.
- Through the Crack in the Ice - As you come out the other side of the small opening you find youself standing inside the heart of Urmsheim itself. Above you, you can make out that strange ice tree. Ahead of you is a small, unused path that looks to run around the inside of the mountain to it's peak.
- Town Square - You've stumbled upon town square, and in doing so have alerted the two Norn Hounds to your intrusion. They snarl viscously at you, one howls, the other charges you from behind, red eyes never leaving your throat at it leaps and snaps it powerful jaws. To the north you can see a small side road, many large brown figures search around in the same manner as the white ones. To the south is a large building, probably a city hall, it's roof looks ready to collapse under the weight of the snow at even the slightest movement. You can enter through the rusty old door if you think it wise.
- Under the Dome - You are standing in a great semi-spherical dome. Your light bounces and reflects off the walls made of ice, illuminating a scene of carnage and genocide. Norn and giant corpses alike are strewn about, blood and gore spattered on the wall, and in the center of it all rears the head of the magnificent and deadly Ice Worm, Igjarjuk.
- Under the Ledge - You stand under a large ledge of ice, most likely the one you spotted earlier from the entrance. It's shadow covers everything in the immediate area, making it seem much colder then it is. Suddenly the entire mountain rumbles and groans, shuddering one last time before it falls silent, completely silent.
- Yakh Huyeru - Yakh Huyeru - The Hall of Trembling, at first glance appears to simply be an enormous underground cavern beneath Stormspike. The ceiling vaults higher then you can see, the walls stretching upward into the darkness. A soft white light from no apparent source fills the room bathing the cavern in a pale glow. The floor beneath your feet is worn smooth, as are the walls around. Suddenly the cavern shifts and rumbles violently.. you feel.. an evil. It is then you realize you're not alone.
