- A Corner Of The Alley - Donner sends shockwaves towards Tayn. Donner MAULS you with his MAULS!! Donner MAULS you with his MAULS!! Donner rips apart the fabric of time and space The Alley Behind The General Store You are standing in the alley behind the store. It looks like an inhabited house lies to your south. The alley leads to the east and west.
- Before The Mountain Trail - You are just outside the large metal gate of the village. A mountain towers before you. A smoothed out trail leads upwards and disappears behind a large outcropping of rocks. Looks like it is either upwards or west back into the village.
- Half Way Up The Mountain - You are slightly winded from your trek. The mountain trail, even though it is smooth, is also very steep. Looking above you, you see the mountain towering majestically. You are sure in days long ago the sun looked beautiful as it rose above these majestic peaks. After you catch your breath you consider which way to go. You can continue upwards on the trail, or down back toward the village.
- In Front Of The East Gate - You are standing inside the east gate of the village of Dar'loh. A large iron gate stands off to the east. The sheer size and weight of it amazes you. A very large lock sits near one end of it. It is of very good quality and probably impossible to pick or bash through. Maybe closer inspection of the gate will give you a clue on how to get through it. The main street lies to the west.
- Inside A Run-Down Home - You can describe this house in one word, pitiful. Nothing but half-walls and half-ceilings. Boards and supports are missing. The floor is broken in places and you can see the dirt underneath. The only exit is to the east.
- The Alley Intersection - You are standing in an intersection in the alley. It heads toward the main street to the north, moves west back toward some still standing houses, and the east seems to be a dead end where a house collapsed into the alley.
- The Cavern - You are standing inside a *HUGE* cavern. You can hear water dripping from high above you. A drop hits you on the cheek, cleaning the soot from your face. The water sends a shiver up and down your spine. Now you realize that there is something else making noise in here. A low pitched guttural noise, a sound that, to you, sounds like hunger.
- The Central Square - The darkness here in the central square is much more profound. It's almost like this is the origin of the phenomonon. A large fire burns in the center of the square. Wait! A fire?? How did you not see it. Looking at the light radius put off by the fire you notice with awe that it only shines one foot away from the blaze. After that is nothing but blackness. What kind of unatural magic is this. Chills move up your spine as you look for places to go. To the north, you can make out a large house. The main road runs east and west. To the south is a shop of some sort, it looks like someone is inside.
- The Dead End - You are standing in a part of the alley that used to continue to the east, but now that pathway is blocked by a house that collapsed into the street. You know it will take hours upon hours to clear the rubble, and you don't want to spend anymore time here than you have to. The only way out is to the west.
- The General Store - You are standing in a general store. Various items line the walls and sit on the shelves. Looking at the merchandise it seems they haven't made a sale in a long time. Many of the metal items are rusted and dented. Most of the food is rotten. How many lives were affected by whatever happened here? The town square lies to the north.
- The Village Intersection - More desolation. A person could get very depressed in a place like this. How could anyone live in a place like this? Destroyed homes and businesses. Now you understand why the city has such a wall. Then again, you haven't seen any damage to the wall itself. What kind of enemy did, or do, these people have. You can head south down the alley, or east or west down main street.
- The Village Intersection - Farther into the village gives your eyes no relief from the destruction around you. You can see a sign for a sewing shop to the left of you. Although it is badly damaged and hanging by one bolt the rest stands in front of the door to the building, if you can even call it a building since that is the only wall still standing. Lightning streaks above breaking the stillness and making you jump. You can head south down a side street, east to the village square, or west toward the front gate.
- The Walkway - Though once beautiful the bricks are broken and weeds sprout through the cracks between them. A once flower garden lies to the east and a trussel covered in dead ivy lies to the west. You must get to the bottom of all of this. A door to a large house lies to the north, and the village sqare lies to the south.
